Hotmax wood briquettes are an ideal virtually smokeless fuel for your home in woodburners or multi stoves (large and small) and for outdoor use in summer in firepits, chimineas and braziers. The high density compacted heat logs are made from 100% natural, recycled wood dust. They’re denser, drier and burn cleaner, they're better than even the best kiln dried or seasoned hardwood logs in all the key measurements of moisture content and energy output. It is far more eco-friendly than kiln dried hardwood, it performs better and more consistently, it’s cleaner, easier and less bulky to handle.
They give you a safe and spark free living flame and their completely natural, odourless heat makes them the ideal cooking fuel for your bbq or ceramic grill. Crucially, Hotmax fuel logs also offer you an unbeatably sustainable British alternative to energy-greedy imported briquettes or kiln-dried hardwood logs. They are packaged in a recyclable, burnable or compostable paper sack.
Hotmax fuel logs are very easy to light without the use of firelighters or kindling. We recommend that you start your fire with a few of the thinnest disks of Hotmax in your bag (you can create thin disks by breaking or chopping slices off a bigger log). Arrange two or three thin disks in a ‘tent’ over a couple of screws of dry paper and light the paper. You could use strips of paper from the bag. The paper is 100% natural and safe, and the ink is water-based and completely non-toxic. Then just add more logs steadily to build your fire.
